Do I need to close my business during the anti-slip treatment?

No, you do not need to shut down your business during the treatment. HALKSTOP professionals are accustomed to working with businesses that cannot frequently shut down operations. We can perform the treatment outside of your regular business hours, including nights, evenings, or weekends, to minimize disruptions to your business.

Who applies HALKSTOP's anti-slip treatment?

The anti-slip treatment is applied exclusively by our certified personnel. Our teams undergo continuous training and certification in our safety programs.

Does the treatment alter the appearance of my floors?

Anti-slip treatments do not have a detrimental effect on the appearance of your floors. In high-risk cases with highly polished surfaces, we may provide recommendations in cases where a slight loss of shine might be advisable to meet stringent safety requirements. In most cases, HALKSTOP achieves a safe floor surface without any noticeable changes in appearance.

How long does the treatment last?

The treatment lasts for a minimum of 5 years when cleaning guidelines are followed. Depending on the quality of the floor and the amount of foot traffic, you can expect the treatment to last well beyond the 5-year warranty period. Unlike a coating, the floor must wear down for the treatment to wear off.

Does the treatment work on all types of floors?

Our technology works on nearly all natural stone, ceramic, and granite floor surfaces. It is not a suitable option for wood or synthetic flooring surfaces. Each surface is carefully analyzed to select the appropriate treatment for optimal safety results.

How do we maintain a treated floor?

Cleaning guidelines will be provided, and you will automatically be enrolled in our ongoing safety program. Your project manager will provide feedback and conduct on-site training if needed to effectively maintain the treated floors. Fully protect your warranty with the provision of floor cleaning products.
